Tuna Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 packet pasta

  • 2 cans tuna

  • 1 can tomatoes

  • 1 Tsp mixed herbs

  • 1 garlic clove, finely chopped

  • 1 Tsp sugar

  • Capers/Olives (optional)

  • Chilli flakes/powder (optional)


Method:

  • Cook pasta in salted water until al dente.

  • While it cooks, heat a little oil in a pan.

  • Add finely chopped garlic (or garlic powder), chili flakes (optional) and dried herbs.

  • Add canned tomatoes and sugar (which neutralises acidity).

  • Simmer 5–10 mins to thicken slightly.

  • Stir in tuna add capers/olives as optional extra. Warm 2–3 mins.

  • Toss drained pasta into sauce, adding a splash of pasta water if needed.
